"Holly"

Holly - Born 23/12/09

Holly was born at approximately 10.30pm on Wednesday 23rd December 2009.
She is a petite little brown pinto filly, who will most likely grey out as she was sired by an unknown grey stallion, out of our sweet old mare Janneil Jaclyn (Sheba).
Sheba's due date was unknown, but long mane and tail hair suggests Holly might have been slightly overdue. She had a trouble free birth, but she would not suck despite our best efforts to guide her. The vet was called and she was tube fed twice to keep her alive, but she was extremely weak and kept slipping into a trance. The prognosis wasn't promising, but I nursed her for the first day and by the time she was 20 hours old, she finally learnt how to suckle and her condition improved rapidly.

Badlands Disco Diva

Diva was born just after 11pm on Thursday 3rd December 2009.
She is a stunning bay pinto filly, sired by Jabiru Salt N Pepper out of Badlands Sass N Jazz.
Diva had a fast, trouble free birthing, was on her feet within minutes, drinking within half an hour, and trotting within the hour. Her extensive white pinto markings are a throw back to her sire's dam, and as she is relatively tall already with a birth height of 24", she will most definitely mature as a small horse, hopefully around the 35-36" mark.
This much anticipated girl is everything I have ever hoped for, and will be retained forever.
